From broad interactive strategies for companies like IBM or AOL, to designing a journalist’s website, to search engine marketing for a placement firm, Captus employs our proven methodology to create interactive solutions that look great and bring home impressive results.

Our Interactive Marketing capabilities include strategy, website design, ad and banner design, creative optimization, SEO/SEM, Flash and multimedia, and email design and copy. All of our work is 100% original and brand-tailored - not a template in sight. See below for a few examples of our work in action.

Dynamic Site & SEO/SEM
A high-profile Parisian design/development company, a+b kasha, had a functional site, but was limited both in content and the ability to make frequent changes. Built entirely in Flash, the site was invisible to search engines.

We added content sections to enhance the brand and search engine rankings, and built the site in structured XML. A visual content management system allows employees to update site content without learning any code. A targeted online campaign attracts up to 500 potential buyers per month.

Artist’s Site & SEO
Keith Batten is a well-known New York artist, illustrator and theatre director. He asked us to create a unique site to showcase his work.

His recent series, Doors, features drawings on old doors, some as tall as 2 metres. Our challenge was to create an engaging space where these large works could be appreciated.

Each page background is different and features an aspect of Keith’s work. An interactive “sampler cube” gives viewers gratification on the home page. Small Flash modules on key pages help enliven the art, and a lightbox effect enlarges the art. Our optimization work puts his site in the top results for key searches.

Site Design & SEO
Royal Domestic Placement Services finds qualified staff for exclusive estates worldwide. After creating their corporate identity, we were asked to develop a website and online marketing.

The website features a tapestry background and saturated imagery on each page evoking elegance and distinction. A Flash module on the home page animates words and visuals intended to resonate with target prospects.

We developed a SEM and targeted content campaign and a refined strategy to optimize placement and cost. In its first month, the campaign produced 606 leads, at a cost per lead of less than a dollar! Click the visuals at left to visit the site.
Interactive Strategy & Site Redesign
Before AOL’s migration out of the internet access business, a concerted effort was made to reduce reliance on expensive CD mailings, and acquire subscribers online. We were chosen to create a strategy and implement the new AOL.com.

We created a home page which offered users 90% of their intended activities without clicking deeper. A pioneering (at the time) javascript module was used, which displayed multiple layers of information by simply rolling the mouse over the page.

Dynamic spaces were included, which display targeted messages using predictive ad-serving technology.
Software Website
Flexcrypt, a rapidly growing Swedish software company, needed to re-work their site to be more flexible and adaptable as their product range expands.

We created a home page with an Ajax-driven smooth-transition tab panel and added an Ajax accordion for demos, to maximize the amount of information available on the homepage. We developed sub-page templates which allow employees to update information regularly on their own. Use-case scenarios were used to ensure all user needs are met within two clicks of arrival.

Exclusive Property Website
The owners of this luxurious Parisian apartment in an exclusive Left Bank area asked Captus to devise a marketing strategy to find prospective tenants.

We developed a website reflective of the quality of the property which engages visitors with large visuals, and interactive floor plan and neighborhood pages. A targeted online campaign brings high-quality prospects to the site, and a secure system allows agents around the world representing the property to add their own branding.

Designer’s Website
Mallery Roberts Morgan is a Paris and Los Angeles-based interior designer and design journalist. Her Flash-only site was functional, but invisible to search engines and not fully reflective of her design aesthetic.

We created a search engine-friendly HTML site using ample white space, with strong visuals to convey her design and journalistic depth. Use of Ajax sliders provides the needed information, but keeps the pages simple and clean. Smooth lightbox effects are used to enlarge and scroll through images and videos.

If you need a great design writer, or want to turn your home into a palace, make sure you visit Mallery’s site by clicking the images at left.
Research Company Website
Kudzu is a consumer research and brand consultancy based in New York. They had a single-page site sorely lacking in information and search engine visibility, and so turned to Captus for help.

Kudzu takes work seriously, but prefers a fun and open approach, and is named after the unstoppable kudzu vine. We developed fun visuals and serious copy on a background of kudzu to denote the brand values.

Forms and a database were developed to capture survey participant information. View the entire site by clicking on the visuals at right.
